I know it's been a while since I've blogged...no excuses. Started as the librarian at school and love it! A lot has been happening. Lori and Travis, two of the best people on the planet, lost their beautiful baby girl Madeline Noelle on June 3rd. A week before that, another amazing duo, Ivy and Kevin, lost their baby. I cannot possibly understand how these four people are still going strong day by day after what they have been through. The only thing that comforts me is that God has taken both children and they are safe in Heaven. I also hope God continues to watch over my friends in their time of need and helps them get through this horrible time. My poor dog is so tired she actually fell asleep in between my dad's legs Saturday night. We had an amazing time though. Thursday morning we went to The Children's Museum to see the Chagall exhibit. It was incredible. If you enjoy art, go check it out. It was all completely hands-on and even my parents had a blast. Now Thursday night the girls had third row seats at the Heymann Center for Lord of the Dance. Thanks to the very gracious and wonderful John O'Meara. My sister and I sat about two feet behind them so it was cool. Anywho, the girls enjoyed themselves and made some new friends. Then we had dessert at Copeland's (Thanks Cooper!) and went home and collapsed. Ally and her younger sister Lindsey are coming to Lafayette on Tuesday to stay with us until Saturday. I AM SO EXCITED!!!!! Plans will range from Hannah Montana movie to museums to whatever the girls feel like doing. Being with her is truly a high point of my day. She cracks me up and decompresses me when I am tense. For those of you who have a pug out there, you know exactly what I mean. She luckily is crazy about every human she meets, but she is a big wuss when it comes to other dogs.
